Although many gamers will abuse the right, I feel that we should be allowed to pause the game during online play. Please add this feature because sometime you just have to stop the game. Anybody agree...

i don't agree. then you will get a punch of annoying kids pausing the game until you quit out.  That means anyone can make you wait for any time while they stay paused.  BAD IDEA.

Would have been cool to have these guys with the initial $60 bucks, plus tax we paid for the game. Bad economy and all, hard to fork out $10. Maybe a buck a fighter, but damn. We do interviews with a few boxers, several said they'd have been in the game for nothing, although I'm sure Oscar wasn't one of them, or the Klits for that matter. Funny though, like in life, the boxers that don't demand a high price tag for things such as this, are the ones that don't make the big checks to begin with, yet moneybags Delahoya and the Klitschko's who have the most money demand more money than anyone. If only ego could make a truly good great fighter, Oscar.

I think that it would be a brilliant dual-marketing technique to introduce DLC boxers around the time of their bouts.  For instance Marquez-Mayweather to coincide with 24-7 and the fight, Juan Diaz when he fights Malinaggi, 126 pound Pac-Man when he goes up against Cotto,  Chris Aereola when he goes against Klitscho, Paul Williams when he fights Pavlik.  I think this could be a good way to reintroduce boxing to pop culture and younger fans.  There is no reason why someone (with money)  isn't going to purchase a fight to see the latest DLC boxers in action.  Or if its a free HBO or Showtime event, there is no reason someone won't buy DLC after watching the fighter.  I don't know how tight HBO and Showtime are, but it would be a great promotion for EA to team up with either of them.

Now that you have De La Hoya, how about introducing a Golden Boy Promotions pack?

You guys are already teamed with ESPN so why don't you introduce fighters from their daily Classic Fights show?  It would be cool that when they have a show dedicated to Sugar Ray Leonard, Ali or Tyson, EA would release some of his greatest opponents. Imagine watching Ali's battles against Norton and then going to the game to simulate.  This would be a great way to build more fan support toward the game and boxing itself.

also consider a "Timewarp" option on Career Mode where we can start Ali back in the 60's or Tyson in the 80's.  Through DLC you can include other fighters from that exact era.  Would this be THAT difficult to do?

add more venues!  Zaire, Rumble in the Jungle, Caesar's Palace, Japan, Foxwoods...

Anyway, I'd like to speak for all of the gamers out there that don't have online gameplay capabilities. I say, create a whole bunch of "packs" as you all call them, and release them in disk form so that we can enjoy all the extra characters. I would personally like to see more fighters that you don't hear much about, like Kim Du Koo(don't know if i spelled it right) and maybe Bradley, Durrell, and the rest of the greats that you guys didn't release on the game. I'm telling you, there is no need for a round 5, just release a bunch of playable characters so we can upgrade our fight night rosters, and be sure to release any game updates also. Just please be sure to place them on a disk so I can go to my local gamestop and buy it! Thanks!

Since you guys are putting the middleweight version of James Toney wheres the middlewieght Roy Jones Jr ? i mean brian hayes talked about the boxers being the prime versions of theirselves roy jones didnt go light heavywieght  till his 30's so what the hell. i mean do you guys do any research at all and further more he should have more 99 hand speed he was the first boxer in the history of boxing to go an entire round without being hit, and you guys made him slow. and whats with his ring name you guys have it as "junior" his ring name for the last ten years has been "captain hook" so do your research and make the fighters the way they are supposed to be...oh and by the way jones jr used a textbook block style.

Pausing the game would be unfair for other people for many reasons.  Generally, it means time would be taken away from the person waiting on another's pause. (and that's aside from it being abused as you mentioned).  Ideally though, pausing the game should be a shared feature where one player clicks on a "pause" button as a request to the opponent. Then the opponent should be giving the chance to agree to the pause. The pause should have a time limit of 5 minutes (if you have to go away for more than 5 minutes, then you shouldn't be playing online at the time). After five minutes, if one player is not back for his bout, and another is, the one who is present should be able to click their "unpause feature" and have a minute countdown (with volume indication). If the other person hasn't come back, the win goes to the present player. I think something like this may work, but a general pausing ability from just one player is uncalled for.

I could really careless, because my De La Hoya, V Klitschko, and Wlad are much better than EA Sports' boxers so why would I spend 10 bucks on a downgrade of fighters that I made better?

No deal, I will not spend one penny on DLC's that you have to pay for. It makes it "ok" for EA Sports to give you an unfinished game. Screw that I don't buy your courses on Tiger Woods and I won't buy any of your DLC fighters. I've made them better and I would only download them if they were free, but of course they won't be.

Also, why do you want to add buttons? The game is already doing great in sales and reviews etc. Adding buttons won't make a difference, but since you guys are adding buttons anyway could you at least not let button smashers use the buttons online? It would kill the online if you have a bunch of button smashers clogging up the leaderboards because they have no skill and just hit a bunch of buttons. They have no skill so please add the buttons, but don't let them use it online.

I am definetly glad  u guys decided to drop the price that was a little high for 5 boxers. But really I'd rather pay $9.99 and get more boxers than have u drop it. What about Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano, Sonny Liston, Evander Holyfield, Larry Holmes, Jack Dempsey, Jack Johnson, Floyd Patterson, Felix Trinidad, Bernard Hopkins, Mayweather, Graziano, Tony Zale, Valuev. U know, give us some boxers we can't recreate, cuz honestly what are the Klits gonna be rated? 86, 87. I can create that, with the photo game face too! Thats what I have the Klits rated now on my FN4. But some of those I named u can't recreate. Like Joe Louis should be 92 or 93, Rocky - 90 or 91, Valuev is 7'0" 300+, Sonny Liston had 84" reach at 6'1! U can't recreate that, u feel me. And like one of these guys said, u need some more of the smaller guys, recent and past. U should do like a pack for each weightclass, well like the online with 3. Lightweight, Middleweight, Heavyweight and give us like 10 people for $9.99. And while u doin alternate versions can i get an alternate Duran. I don't even fight lightweights with Duran, I fight the welters and when I'm ballsy the middle's.    

I THINK EA SHOULD HAVE FIGHTERS FROM DIFFERENT OLYMPIC GAMES INCLUDED IN SOME OF THE UPCOMING DLC"S. STARTING WITH THE 1976 OLYMPIC BOXING TEAM. I ALSO THINK THAT EA SHOULD NOT MAKE THE TRAINING SESSIONS MANDATORY IN THE LEGACY MODE. THAT REALLY TAKES MORE TIME THAN I WANT TO SPEND DOING SOMETHING THAT I DONT WANT TO DO ANYWAY.  I BOUGHT BOTH 360 & PS3 VERSIONS. I DIDNT DO THAT BECAUSE I WANT TO TRAIN. I WANT TO FIGHT. SIMPLY PUT, I WANT TO GUIDE MY CREATED FIGHTER'S  CAREER WITHOUT HAVING TO GO THROUGH THE TRAINING GAMES..INSTEAD, I WOULD RATHER FOCUS ON THE MATCHMAKING  AND ACTUAL BOXING ASPECTS OF HIS CARRER.

TheDemolitionDan...  "button smashers has no skill" i agree when your talking about a 2 year old holding the controller. but just ebcause you werent smart enough in FN1 to press start and switch the config to throw more accurate and faster punches, and never learned that way, doesnt mean you have more skill

Oscar was a decent add-on. The Klitschko brothers were long overdue. I'm not to crazy about alternate versions of fighters, personally. I just think that's time and space that could be used for someone deserving of being in the game. I would love to see Floyd Mayweather  or Juan Manuel Marquez back in the franchise. How bout first timers like, Paul Williams, Chad Dawson or Edwin Valero?

i like the DLC.. the new Grant panamanian boots are awesome.Im a little disapointed thou,Oscar and the klitscho bros is great but the alternate george foreman and james toney is just a waste of space.We already have these two boxers.I think as a huge boxing fan when i put this game in i want to be excited to relive the greatest fights between the greatest boxers ever to step in the ring.The roster is good and all but it needs the boxers that made history in the ring.

for example arturo gatti is already in the game why not throw in mickey ward that had an awsome trilogy with him.Julio cesar chavez  vs  macho camacho.the list of fighters that need their super opponents go on and on.tyson vs the real deal i will pay 10 bucks for the download if i can throw those two in the ring.

5. add 2 more championships too legacy mode and maybe allow them to be used in fight now mode

That should be a big Thanksgiving or Christmas updat for about 20 dollars (1600 Microsoft Points) .... You should take mine and many other peoples points into consideration EA Sports

This game is perfect, I couldn’t ask for a better Fight Night game.  I love that you guys are adding boxers because when I first saw the roaster I was really happy, but mad that you took boxers out. I agree with a lot of these comments.

I really hope you guys read these.

I THINK YOU REALLY NEED TO ADD

1. New Boxer's,  Add Floyd Mayweather Jr,  Bernard Hopkins(Prime middle weight) Paul William's, Evander Hollyfield, Rocky Marciano, because he was in the first two, then taken out. include some of the SUPER SIX fighters, like Arthur Abraham, Andre Dirrell, Exedra, and bring back Felix Trinidad, Micky Ward Because the Gatti War saga, I would love to see Joe Louis, but I think it would be hard to make him because of his style, Floyd Patterson, Sonny Liston, Riddick Bowe, Juan Manuel Marquez, Zab Judah, Antonio Tarver.

Antonio Margarito is a cheater I don’t think he should be in the game, and Jeff Lacy idk about him.

2. In legacy mode, when you become champion you can only fight the same 8 guys, I was hoping you could just let the champ pick out of all the rankings so you can have a lot of wins from different names, and also move up in weight, Exp light, to welter, to Middle, instead of just one weight class

3. The fighters in their different weight class's.  For Exp, Jones at middle, Pacquia when he was at fly and then moved up,

I liked how you put Toney back at middle as young Toney, basically have sort of the same format as round 3 with the weight class's

I think this game is great like I said, I hope you guys read these and add the things we recommend, and ill keep on making noise UNTIL  YOU POST UP A NEW DL PACK, I WILL PAY ANY PRICE
